It is with heavy heart and great sadness that I have to post that my husband, Clint Rhodes- GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN creator, has passed away. He is finally at peace and is out of pain. Please keep our family in your prayers ~ Brenda Rhodes
Rescue 136 Incident Mutual Aid Response
🚨FUNDRAISER FOR CLINT RHODES’ FAMILY 🚨
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the loss of our beloved Chief, Clint Rhodes. His unexpected passing this past week has shaken all of us to our core. Clint wasn’t just our Chief, he was our family.
For 18 years, Clint served as a dedicated firefighter, answering the call with courage and compassion. He responded selflessly during 9/11 and was a quiet hero in countless moments since, never asking for praise, always putting others first. He was the kind of leader who wore the red with pride and purpose, standing tall for every brother and sister in the field.
Clint was a part of Rescue 136, excited to serve alongside us with his apparatuses. He was a fierce advocate for first responders, always understanding the sacrifices and burdens that come with this calling.
Now, we want to do for Clint what he would’ve done for any of us, show up, support, and ease the burden for his family.
Clint leaves behind his loving wife, his children, his grandchildren, and a wide circle of family and friends who adored him deeply.
We are humbly asking for donations to help his family with funeral costs, meals, bills, and time off work, anything that may arise in the days and weeks ahead. In times like this, no one should have to choose between grieving and worrying about how to pay for it.
Every dollar will go directly to the Rhodes family to help them through this unimaginable loss. If you can give, please do. If you can’t, please share.
Let’s come together as Clint always did, with heart, honor, and unity.
Thank you for your continued support. 💗
Everyone here at Gone But Never Forgotten would love to send a very special thank you to a couple in Kearney, Missouri.
Your donations mean the world to us and we can't thank you enough. Your donation will help us on our new Fire Engine and when we get it done , we would love to bring them over to your house so ya'll can have pictures with both trucks.
Thank you again!
